Fab folk - if this looks familiar it's because I've introduced you to Clearwaters before. This year, they're back with a Kickstarter that funded fully upon launch AND a giveaway for one of you. Read on to find out more about them and about how to win a pair of these beautiful slippers. 

If you've ever wanted to do your bit to fight ocean plastic, here's a chance. Clearwaters footwear is a sustainable footwear brand, making comfort slippers for both indoor and outdoor use. Each pair is made from up to 5 'post consumer' plastic bottles, organic cotton (GOTS) and sustainable natural rubber.

"As a brand we are passionate and committed to helping fight the rise of plastic pollution. Each product we create is developed from innovative materials derived from recycled plastic waste. In addition, we pledge 2% of sales to our chosen charity partner ‘Plastic Oceans’ – whether were profitable or not!"


Clearwaters bridges the gap between sustainability and accessibility, like NO OTHER brand. What good are sustainable products, if most people can't afford them? No green washing and no bull sh*t. Just a high quality, affordable and truly sustainable product that's manufactured in Spain, in fair working conditions! 

Having already diverted over 10,000 bottles from oceans and landfill, they're just getting started, and aim to surpass 1M bottles recycled! 

You can support the Clearwaters Kickstarter now, which is already fully funded! 2% of every sale also goes to their charity partner Plastic Oceans (a non-profit organization that addresses the issue of plastic pollution).

    There are certain products I won't. Most products yes I shall buy it. But, in Quebec - Cascades Toilet paper is recycled and is more expensive than Cottonelle.

      Yup - I see the same discrepancies in pricing in US. But as products made from recycled materials become more popular, demand increases scale of production and the prices are coming down. It's exciting to see! 💚♻︎
